Art Appreciation Week & Family Night

Jan. 25 – Jan. 28, 2027  ·  Family Art Night: Jan. 29, 2027

Art Appreciation Week inspires creativity and celebrates the visual arts through a week of fun, hands-on experiences for LCE students. During lunch each day, students explore new artistic techniques, experiment with different materials, and create projects in a collaborative, welcoming environment near the Science Center.

The week concludes with a special Family Art Night, where students and their families create together, celebrate the artwork from the week, and enjoy an evening that brings our school community together through art.

A look back: Friendship Trees Take Root at LCE

Last year, Art Appreciation Week focused on making friendship flowers, wishing birds, and leaves for friendship trees displayed around the school — chaired by parent volunteer Kelly Morris.
