Science Olympiad

Attention 3rd–6th Grade Students!

Discover the excitement of science through Science Olympiad, one of LCE's premier STEM enrichment programs. Science Olympiad combines teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking as students explore a wide variety of scientific disciplines through hands-on learning and friendly competition.

Often described as an "academic track meet," Science Olympiad consists of 20–25 team events that challenge students in subjects such as genetics, anatomy, earth science, chemistry, physics, geology, engineering, and technology. Events are updated each year to reflect current scientific topics and innovations, providing new challenges for both returning and new participants.

Registration opens late fall — additional program details, including meeting dates and competition information, will be shared prior to the start of the season. Questions? Contact scienceolympiad@lcepta.org
