Earth Week

Earth Week, which takes place from April 20 to April 22, 2026, is a week dedicated to celebrating our amazing planet and all the wonderful things it gives us - fresh air, clean water, beautiful animals, and colorful plants.   Each day will feature fun, themed activities that show us how we can help take care of our Earth.  Join us in making a difference, even the smallest change can lead to big impacts. Together, we can keep our planet healthy and happy for everyone!

If you would like to get involved, please contact your Earth Week chair, Audrey Tjiptokesuma at programs@lcepta.org

Help us by sending in clean, recycled yogurt cups for a special Earth Day activity! Applesauce, cottage cheese, pudding cups, and similar containers are all welcome. Just be sure they’re washed and dried before dropping them in the collection boxes at the Encinas Gate or near the lunch tables. Collecting now through April 22.

Want to join the fun? We’re looking for volunteers to help with lunchtime Earth Week activities!
