Volunteer requirements vary depending on the type of activity. Please make sure you have the appropriate requirements completed before volunteering.

On-Campus / Staff-Supervised

Volunteering in a classroom or on campus while an LCE staff member is present:

Sign in at the front office
Wear a volunteer badge
Have a current TB test on file with Ms. Amy Erickson
Fill out the PTA Volunteer Waiver for any PTA-related events

Day Field Trips / Not Under Direct Supervision

Responsible for a small group of students without direct staff supervision:

Sign in at the front office
Wear a volunteer badge
Have a current TB test on file
Complete a Mandated Reporter Certificate

Overnight Trips (Valley Forge)

All overnight trip volunteers must complete:

TB clearance
Fingerprinting (Live Scan background check)
Mandated Reporter Certificate

LCUSD Volunteer Requirements — sign in and get a badge for on-campus and field-trip volunteers, a current TB test on file for all volunteers, a Mandated Reporter Certificate for field trips and overnight trips, and fingerprinting for overnight trips.
