Dear Community Member,

We invite you to our beloved 37th annual Halloween Haunt on Saturday, October 25, 2025. It is open to the public, with free admission. The Haunt is our largest annual fundraiser of the year. Every year, LCE’s kids and families look forward to a day of carnival games and prizes, costume contests and confetti eggs. Our PTA works tirelessly on this fundraising event and relies heavily on the event income to provide many enrichment programs for our children. 

In conjunction with the Halloween Haunt, we will again hold our annual Silent Auction. The Silent Auction accounts for almost half of the funds raised at the entire event.  Items are advertised online and bidders compete via BidPal throughout the day of the Haunt.  LCE counts on the community’s generosity and the PTA’s hard work every year, and we look forward to partnering with you.

In addition to any tax benefits from your donation (please note our Tax ID#95-6205017 and consult your accountant), we intend to to thank all business donors with a listing on our PTA website, http://www.lcepta.org/halloween-haunt, and via our Lion Times email newsletter, which is distributed to more than 600 verified and unique email addresses on a weekly basis.  A donor form is provided below for you to complete and submit.

Some of the programs that we have been able to provide our students as a result of our fundraising include Science Olympiad, World Fair, the annual Spelling Bee, Earth Week, Art Appreciation and STEAM week.  LCE’s PTA also pays for LCE’s assemblies, library books and art supplies, classroom supplies, and licenses for online programs used by the students each day.  Your generous donation to our Silent Auction will allow us to continue to offer programs like these to enrich our over 600 elementary student’s school years.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any past contributions, and for your generosity in making any future donations.  Your support does truly make a difference in our children’s lives.
