Trunk or Treat

Decorate a trunk. Pass out treats. Be part of the Haunt!

Join the fun at the LCE Halloween Haunt on Saturday, October 24 by hosting a trunk in our first-ever Trunk or Treat!

LCE families are invited to decorate their vehicle, dress up, and help create a fun and festive trick-or-treating experience for our students. Go spooky, silly, creative, or completely over-the-top — we can't wait to see what you come up with!

Limited to 15 trunks. Spots are confirmed in the order sign-ups are received, so sign up soon!

Specific arrival, parking, set-up, candy quantity recommendations, and event-day instructions will be sent to participating trunk hosts before the Haunt.

What Hosts Do

Host a trunk

Trunk hosts will:

Bring a vehicle and decorate the trunk or designated area with a Halloween theme.
Arrive early enough to park and complete decorating before the Haunt begins.
Have at least one adult remain with the vehicle during Trunk or Treat.
Provide and distribute individually wrapped candy or treats to participating children.
Keep decorations family-friendly and appropriate for elementary-aged students.
Remain parked for the duration of the event for everyone's safety.

Inspiration

Pick a theme & make it your own

Need some inspiration? Think favorite movies, sports, superheroes, games, books, classic Halloween, pumpkins, ghosts, monsters, glow-in-the-dark, or something completely original. Family costumes are encouraged but definitely not required!

Your trunk can be as simple or as elaborate as you'd like — pick a theme, add decorations, wear costumes to match, play a game, or create a fun experience around your vehicle. Families, friends, grade-level groups, and LCE organizations are all welcome to participate.
